Hong Kong Beadworks Academy was established in 2015 by Ms. Shirley Leung, who has been teaching beadwork and tatting artworks creation for over 20 years. She taught in numerous organisations for beadwork creation, including Hong Kong Electric Home Management, Caritas Family Service Centre, Hong Kong PHAB Association, and Yan Oi Tong. Her versatile beadwork classes teach students to use various beads and materials and combinations to create demi-fine jewelry and affordable luxury jewelry. Apart from this, Ms Leung collaborated with ESDLife Wedding for wedding gown accessories demonstration.
